As relational beings, we’re all wired to want to feel safety, love, and connection. Unfortunately, life throws most of us curveballs that mess with our connection game, and whether it's with partners, family, or your ride-or-dies, relationships get messy. Through both my personal and professional experiences, I know the way that our relationships (healthy and unhealthy) impact every aspect of life, and I’ve always felt passionate about helping people cut through the noise of things like others’ opinions, societal expectations, and old programming to unveil true intimacy. My goal in our therapy work together will be to guide each person in the room towards genuine connection- whatever that means for you- by helping you to understand & express your needs productively, and heal past and/or current relational wounds allowing you to create and keep authentic, fulfilling relationships both with yourself and the people that mean the most to you.
Given what I do, it won’t shock you that most of my favorite things to do outside of the therapy room include some element of connection–so you can usually find me trying out Nashville’s many new restaurants with my husband, meeting up with girlfriends for deep chats over coffee, going to new workout classes (especially ones that involve dancing and 90’s R&B playlists), and traveling around the world with our family!
