MORE ABOUT BRENNA…
I decided when I was a little girl that I would become a therapist. Looking back, I am not surprised by this given the complex dynamics of my family system. My family is my greatest teacher.
I started my career working at an inpatient hospital and became fully licensed in 2017. I transitioned to leading a clinical and marketing team for a local dual-diagnosis treatment center, while simultaneously starting my journey in clinical practice serving adults, parents and adolescents with a focus in DBT.
In my routine habit of morning journaling, I continued to get the feeling that there is something I am supposed to do…something to support women…in a way that has not been done before. Women need each other. Women need more.
I am deeply passionate about empowering women to create the life they want for themselves! We ALL develop habits out of survival, and although once protective, those same habits can get in the way of our thriving. I believe life experiences play a large role in how we relate to ourselves, and that trauma shows up in our bodies both mentally and physically.
I am grateful to be able to relate to women with compassion and utilize evidence-based interventions to address the whole client using psychotherapy + wellness principles that support the mind-gut connection. I would love to create space alongside you to explore where you are on your journey, and where you would like to be.
Some of my favorite things include dancing, thrifting, styling home and clothes, mornings with matcha, walks with my Frenchie “Reau,” and lake weekends with my husband.
